Free Form Essential Amino Acids - The most overlooked "natural anabolic" muscle-building triggers in sports supplement science?
Discover why Muscle Warfare's new product NUKE is on the cutting edge for instant muscle recovery before, during and after training.
We all know that protein is necessary for muscle growth. Muscles are built with protein and consist of proteins. Amino acids are the 22 building blocks of protein and ultimately responsible for protein synthesis and the build up of muscle tissue after exercise. So, to utilize any ingested whole proteins for building muscle, your body must first break down the proteins into amino acids before any muscle can be built.
In categorizing the amino acids in levels of importance to the human diet, scientists have developed specific categories. So, based on this science, of the 22 main L-form amino acids, there are what we call essential amino acids and non-essential amino acids. The descriptions are pretty self-explanatory, with the essential amino acids being necessary to obtain in ones diet. The body cannot manufacture these specific essential amino acids by itself. Of the essential amino acids that you may have heard of before, there are three very popular amino acids among athletes called the (BCAA's) branched chain amino acids. These aminos, particularly Leucine, are powerful stimulators of the mTOR anabolic pathway of muscular development.
On the other hand, we have non-essential amino acids. These particular amino acids the body can either obtain from the diet, or create from other ingested foods and essential amino acids. Lastly, there are conditionally essential amino acids. These are amino acids that are typically classified as non-essential, but during periods of extreme physical duress or bodily stress (illness, fatigue), they become essential. (This meaning the body cannot produce them efficiently while in the weakened condition).
So, as an athlete, of all of the amino acids to choose from, the amino acids that are "essential" would seemingly be the most important for muscle growth. This logic is correct and has stemmed wide spread study in the scientific community. In fact, more published research on the essential amino acids has been performed related to their anabolic potential to build and preserve muscle during training than most other sports supplement technologies. The reason the essential amino acids have not shown up in products yet is most likely due to their cost. It's much easier and more profitable to just through low cost creatine monohydrate into a product that will make you retain water weight in your muscles and fat (temporary, low quality weight gain) than to use a high cost, high quality blend of free form essential amino acids. Muscle Warfare researchers uncovered the aforementioned in depth published literature and have applied the research to a new product called NUKE that is to be used pre, during and post training. This is the exact same use protocol used with a high degree of efficacy in countless "published" scientific studies. Again, these scientific studies clearly demonstrate the enormous muscle building power of free form essential amino acids.
So, why consume free form essential amino acids for muscle building rather than non-essential amino acids? Or why not eat a steak or drink a whey protein shake during and immediately after training? Although these protein sources would elicit some benefit, most would agree that drinking a whey protein shake before and during your workout, or eating food just isn't practical. It just doesn't sit well in the stomach or digest quickly enough to be utilized in a time effective manner.
The answer as to why essential amino acids are the preferred protein source before, during and immediately after training is due to instant absorption, easy on the stomach and maximized "total" muscle protein/amino based utilization. In its broken down form, the body can use the essential amino acids instantly for anabolic processes! You see, while you are training and immediately afterwards, your muscles are trying to recover and deal with the damage incurred from your intense training. The body sends out signals for immediate repair of this damage. This is in the form of Heat Shock Proteins (HSP's) and anabolic hormone increases such as HGH, Testosterone and IGF-1. These are all natural "signals" that the body sends to muscles to begin the muscle repair process.
Amino acids themselves are also powerful triggers of these signals and therefore protein synthesis. They are the essential building blocks of protein and also are signaling mechanisms for the muscle cell to regenerate. One of the major pathways of heavily researched anabolism of the essential amino acids is the mTOR pathway.
Furthermore, the free forms of the essential amino acids, not bound forms, are necessary to exert their maximum and instantaneous anabolic effects during training. Understand that many amino acids have drug like effects in muscle tissue and the body when ingested in their free forms but not when ingested as part of whole proteins. Take L-arginine for example. This amino converts readily into nitric oxide, and when you take it regularly in its pure free form, you undoubtedly get the perpetual pump. Yet, you can eat 3 lbs of steak per day with whey protein drinks all day long, which are loaded with bonded arginine, and not get one bit of that same pump. That's because free form amino acids elicit drug like effects when they are ingested and are capable of triggering powerful effects in the body including instant anabolism!
The new product NUKE by Muscle Warfare utilizes the essential amino acids in a precise dosing matrix and also includes the conditionally essential aminos arginine and glutamine for maximum synergy. Additionally, NUKE contains scientifically validated glycogen replenishment in the form of a 3-part carbohydrate matrix called Glycero-Load. These carbs are vital to cellular hydration, muscle glycogen replenishment and amino acid shuttling. During intense training, the body craves glycogen. Adding Glycerol-Load with the essential aminos helps the body suck up, not only the carbs that it so desperately needs, but also helps it soak up the essential aminos in the process. This amino acid transport system is also a unique part of this formula that also facilitates gastric emptying via high osmolarity and molecular weight for rapid assimilation in the intestines. It's vrtually like converting your stomach to an amino acid absorbing sponge!
Furthermore, the product NUKE contains zero creatine for no bloat and functional strength gains with no fat. Other anabolic constituents included are the Myobolic SERMS and NMDA for optimized hormone and HSP production.
The value of essential amino acids is apparent in the published scientific research and now for the first time ever is available from the Muscle Warfare product development team in the form of NUKE. Give it a shot! It's free of stimulants and can be used with products like NAPALM before, during and after training for optimal anabolism. You'll love how full your muscles feel and how fast you recover!
BUYER BEWARE:
You must see the words "FREE FORM" ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS and a milligram dosage by this claim on a label for them to be true free form amino acids in a product. We have seen several products on the market using trickery, containing whey, casein and other protein blends on the label, and claiming the essential amino acid components of these whole protein sources on the label. Use caution and look carefully at these labels. It must say FREE FORM ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS and list a milligram dose for that specific blend. Muscle Warfare NUKE specifically lists the exact milligrams of each essential amino acid on our label in order to be completely transparent, due to this common industry practice.
